Brandon is a professional dog trainer who has over 40 years of experience under his belt.

Born in a family full of expert pet trainers, Brandon is not only a dog trainer but an animal trainer too.

He used to train wild animals before getting into dog training.

He is also an American Television Personality and an Author. One of the famous books he has written is “Lucky Dog Lessons: Train Your Dog in 7 Days.”

This is also a MasterClass like training system where Brandon teaches dog owners to transform any dog, whether it be shelter dogs, a rescue dog or even a typical spoiled puppy.

Brandon is well-known for his ability in dog training, and to show for it, he has won three Emmy Awards for the show “Lucky Dog.”

He started his dog training journey after he helped to train an injured war veteran’s dog. The veteran lost both his legs in an Afghan Conflict. Also, he is the founder of Argus Service Dog Foundation, which is a place that provides highly trained service dogs for disabled veterans.

After a while, Brandon decided to rescue and adopt the dogs from shelters and train them to become perfect companions too.

This is where everything gets started. Here Brandon shares his personal life and explains how he got into training animals and dogs. This is a must-watch before getting started.

Lesson 02 to 03: Build a Strong Relationship With Your Dog

This is the first real test. Having a better relationship and understanding with your dog and knowing their tendencies is a must before starting any training with your dog. According to Brandon, this increases trust and gives you more control over your dog.

Here, Brandon shows the variables that can affect your dog and its character:

• Gender
• Imprinted DNA

He explains everything perfectly and makes it surprisingly easy to observe your dog’s tendencies. This training actually helps you make proper decisions while training your dog.

Further, Brandon explains how much effective building trust is when it comes to training dogs. here he covers:

Most of us tend to give up easily. This is most true when it comes to training our dogs.

This will be the final lesson of the MasterClass. Here Brandon McMillan Teaches the most common behavioral issues and how you can overcome them.

First, you’ll learn about housebreaking. Housebreaking can quickly go wrong most of the time, but here he teaches his method of housetraining, which he calls housetraining triangle.

Apart from housebreaking, this section covers:

• Peeing indoors to mark their territory
• Inappropriate and excessive barking
• Door dashing
• Chewing

According to Brandon McMillan, these are some bad habits that can take control of your dog. So, Brandon also explains how to figure them out earlier and alleviate them.

My Experience With Brandon McMillan MasterClass Dog Training

Now that you know every essential bit about this course. You might ask, how was the experience actually?

It was great. Milo was being trained for the very first time, and to be honest, I couldn’t have asked for something better than this.

Frankly, it served me great. I’ve finished the course completely, but still, I haven’t canceled my subscription because I’m still revising everything all the time with Milo.

Milo, because of Brandon, now is properly house trained and responds to sit and all sorts of other commands. Overall as Brandon promised earlier, my dog is now a well-trained canine companion.

However, I cannot say that the course is perfect. First, it’s a little expensive and next for that price there should’ve been more extra classes. But those are not something that you need to be worried about. Mainly because the course covers all the essentials.

What it covers is more than enough if you want an obedient dog.

What I Liked About the Dog Training MasterClass

I liked almost everything. Everything was great, and the training foundations of Brandon was just perfect.

But to be specific, I liked some course contents more than the others. I’ll set those out here for you.

Brandon’s Teaching Skills. This guy is a great teacher, he was straight to the point, and everything was just simple, not too complicated or confusing.

The Workbook. As I already mentioned, the Masterclass also provides a 35-page workbook. This even covers things that are not covered in the videos. I relied more than I thought on this book because it was so helpful. It also contains other additional bits that are not related to the course and more.

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs. You’ll experience a lot of different dogs throughout the course. This is great because the canine students that appeared in front of the camera were always some random dogs, not the same one over and over again. Every dog that appeared was not perfect. Some were just not ready, while some were just rude. And to see Brandon successfully train all of them was just encouraging.

Important Points At The End. After each video, you’ll get a highlight of all the crucial points spoken in that particular lesson. This can be very helpful as some videos can take 20 mins to complete.

The Housetraining Triangle. I loved the way Brandon taught housetraining. From what I’ve seen, it is an excellent way to house train your dog. The housetraining triangle can be great for those who live in an apartment, too, even if they use piddle pads.

Things That Needs Improvement

There is one thing that I would like to see improved in the future: the addition of more lessons.

Even though there’s enough training material, it would’ve been great if there was more. Agility and trick training would’ve been a great edition. Separation anxiety and a few others could’ve made the list too. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Is Brandon McMillan MasterClass Worth Giving A Shot?

Absolutely!

Brandon McMillan’s Dog Training MasterClass is worth every penny, and I’m pretty sure that you won’t be disappointed. It was an enjoyable experience watching one of the best in the business teaching us; I loved it. Plus, the whole system works too!

However, if you want more variety, you might get disappointed. Simply because there are not many behavioral problems covered, and as I mentioned before, separation anxiety and a few others could’ve made the list.

Anyways apart from that, there are zero problems with Brandon McMillan Dog Training MasterClass, and it’s absolutely worth giving a shot.

Final Thoughts

If you want your dog’s behavior to be the best, you’ll have to learn from the best. And Brandon’s MasterClass ultimately delivers in that regard.

This is an entirely authentic experience compared to other online dog training programs. You must try it out. Also, the course works; there’s no denying that.
